Strangevirus

A viral plague that leaps between biology and code as easily as you could step across a grave. It is endemic to Strangewarp. It may be Strangewarp.

For the most part, it and its carriers are polite enough to not infect other Warps.

Not all residents of Strangewarp are carriers. But many are, and they make it a dangerous place: a Strangeling might slice your throat and deep-kiss your new opening as a sincere gesture of friendship. So you'll probably die, so what? There'll be another one of you along in seconds.

Some Strangelings will speak of sharing some kind of group mind with the rest of the Virus. Some will scoff at it. Both will probably remind you that the Strangevirus likes to lie.

Pre-Fracture Strangevirus often took the form of a mobile quicksilver fluid. Modern Strangevirus is thick and golden and gooier, as a rule. Visitors are advised to avoid swimming in either.
