HieroTron is a company on [[Io]] that focuses on technology to enable digital and physical worlds to overlap. Their most popular product is the versatile [[Hieromech]] series of fully-artificial bodies that can be inhabited by digital sentience and previously-organic uploaded minds alike.

== CEO ==

The CEO of HieroTron is reclusive, and most of the business of running the company is done remotely, or through proxies. It's often rumored that the CEO is also an upload, a Toy, or even a autogenerated sentience. Very few details are released to the public, but what is known is that they go by the enigmatic title Zero-One.

== R&D ==

[[Nikolai]] is the head of Research and Development, presiding over a elite team of engineers and scientists. <ref>Actually, that's only barely true. Really, Nik just has a rotating cohort of mad scientists who are all allowed to do whatever they want as long as they don't blow up the entire moon. Or if that does occur, that it's at least fixed before anyone notices, which often means before it actually happens. Usually, especially dangerous experiments are shunted off into a pocket dimension, or just in the deep atmosphere of Jupiter. </ref>

Anything especially useful ideas are presented to the CEO in a bi-annual symposium, of which many make it into product lines.
